The Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific 2024 winners were announced today at a luncheon ceremony held during the SiGMA Asia expo at Conrad Manila, in the Philippines. The awards recognize excellence in the gaming industry across various categories.
Event Manager Mariya Savova said: "Congratulations to this year's winners and to all those who were shortlisted, because as we always say, a nomination alone is still a fantastic achievement.
“Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Awards this year. Our event, dedicated to the APAC industry, was held virtually for the past two years, so to see it come to life at last was a huge milestone for the event."
The Global Gaming Awards hold three events annually, covering the Asia-Pacific, Americas, and EMEA regions. The final shortlist for the Asia-Pacific awards was compiled through research by the Gambling Insider and Gaming America teams, consultation with industry experts, and review of self-nominations, submitted by companies.
“The Philippines is now the most dynamic and innovative gaming market in Asia with developments in both the land-based and online verticals, so it certainly was a great pleasure to have the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific here in Manila today on Day 2 of SiGMA Asia. We are humbled by the response we received from the industry here,” Savova added.
Over 30 senior industry executives with extensive experience in the Asia-Pacific region participated in the judging panel, with KPMG in the Crown Dependencies independently adjudicating the voting process. Notable panelists included Betty Zhao of Aruze Gaming Global, Ken Jolly of Light & Wonder, Jaclyn Wood of Global Players Network, and Lucas Cai of Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort.
