The Connecticut Lottery has launched a new iLottery platform, providing players with an online and mobile option for participating in lottery and draw games.
Accessible via ctilottery.org or through the CT Lottery mobile app on iOS (with an Android version expected next month), the platform introduces several new features for a personalized experience. Users can save favorite numbers and wagers, group preferred games for easy access, and set limits on wagering and time spent on the app.
In addition to these new functionalities, the app retains the ability to view winning numbers and scan lottery tickets purchased at retail locations. The launch of the iLottery platform makes Connecticut the 11th state to offer online lottery sales.
“iLottery gives Connecticut residents a convenient and secure way to play lottery games, whether choosing the every-four-minutes speed of KENO, the huge, life-changing jackpots available through Powerball and Mega Millions, or the twice-a-day Play3 & Play4,” said Greg Smith, President and CEO of the CT Lottery.
“In addition to our 2,800 retailer locations, iLottery allows you to pretty much play anytime and anywhere you are. Lottery scratch tickets are only available in retail so be sure to shop retail too.”
The games available through the iLottery platform include:
To use the iLottery service, players must be at least 18 years old. After creating an account, users can deposit funds via debit card, credit card, or bank account into a secure iLottery wallet. Most winnings will be automatically credited to the player’s account after the drawing. Detailed prize claim information is available on the CT Lottery website.
To mark the launch, the CT Lottery is offering promotions that provide free lottery tickets and credits for future wagers.
