"iGB is one of the most important conferences of the year for Alpha Affiliates"

Among the companies eagerly awaiting the new edition of iGB L!VE, to take place this week at the RAI Amsterdam (July 17-18), is Alpha Affiliates. The casino and betting affiliate program will be unveiling new offerings and creating a vibrant atmosphere for networking at booth 11-A44, in what is set to be the last edition of the show to take place in Amsterdam, as the event prepares to relocate to London starting in 2025.

Ahead of the show, Yogonet held an exclusive interview with Roman Bespalov, Affiliate Team Lead, on what to expect from Alpha Affiliates' participation this year, why the event is important for the company, and the latest technologies and trends shaping the iGaming industry.

What should attendees expect from Alpha Affiliates' participation in this year's iGB L!VE? What has the company prepared for the event?

For us, iGB is one of the most important conferences of the year. That's why we've brought a big team to Amsterdam, including members from our affiliate, PSP, and product departments. Our company has an impressive booth this year and, as always, the best bar at the event. So, take the chance to meet us, talk business, and enjoy some fantastic cocktails at our bar.

The upcoming iGB L!VE is the last to take place in Amsterdam, ahead of the event's relocation to London, and will have new features, such as the new Sustainable Gambling Zone. What are your expectations for this significant meeting? Do you expect it to feel different from past editions because of this?

With iGB moving, this event will be unforgettable for everyone. I love Amsterdam and am excited to be part of this significant event. Our expectations for the exhibition are huge. Our team has a lot of meetings scheduled, and we're eagerly looking forward to the start of the conference.

The event's international nature makes it ideal for exploring the latest developments in the industry. What trends, markets, etc., do you anticipate will be highlighted at iGB L!VE? What new movements in gaming are you watching closely?

iGB always brings together the best iGaming specialists from around the world, so I expect to meet and chat with the trendsetters of our industry. Recently, I've noticed the development of tier-2 markets, particularly European ones like Greece and the Czech Republic, which have been gaining momentum since the beginning of this year. I'm excited to meet our partners, who will share new insights on these markets and sources. It promises to be fascinating!

Alpha Affiliates' participation comes amid a period of growth for Alpha, which now counts over 15,000 partners across more than 50 countries. Can you share some insights on the company's trajectory recently?

We are indeed experiencing active growth in traffic volumes and the number of brands. This year, we've already introduced a new brand, Monixbet, and we plan to continue. By the end of the year, we will launch several more new brands on various platforms. Our key markets have also shown growth, and we've added new ones to our products. Plans also include obtaining local licenses and much more soon!

Technological shifts, such as the growing role of AI and crypto and the introduction of new regulations, are two themes currently at the center of discussion. How are these factors influencing the iGaming industry?

Regarding AI, I can say that at this stage, it hasn't revolutionized our industry yet, but it's heading in that direction, albeit slowly. Currently, AI is effective at generating visuals (creatives and more) and translating texts. However, I have yet to see significant progress in AI writing. An experienced person can still distinguish machine-written text from human-written text.

As for regulation, we will undoubtedly see its development every year. However, I am confident that the market will adapt to each new change and find new approaches. Many brands are already moving to local licenses, which will undoubtedly be a trend in the coming years.

As we enter the second half of the year, what events do Alpha Affiliates intend to participate in next, and what plans and goals can you share with us?

We have several exciting events and many ambitious plans. However, we are keeping these details under wraps for now. We encourage everyone to stay tuned for updates, as we will share more information soon.
