Ceuta authorities visit Zitro's technology campus in Barcelona

Casino gaming provider Zitro welcomed the Minister of Finance, Economic Transition and Digital Transformation of Ceuta, Kissy Chandiramani, and the Managing Director of Ceuta Tax Services, Enrique Reyes, to its facilities in Barcelona on Wednesday. The visit provided an in-depth look at the work behind each product and the technological and human resources that comprise Zitro’s Technology Campus.

The Ceutan authorities were accompanied by key Zitro executives: Manuela Jiménez, Vice President; Marta Cuesta, Vice President of Product and Development; and Cristina García, Director of Institutional Relations. During their visit, they toured the various departments within the Technology Campus, which include the development of software for video slot games, video bingo, and Electronic Bingo, as well as the design of hardware and game projects for Zitro Digital, the company's online gaming division.

Zitro's Barcelona campus is home to over 550 employees and spans 12,000 square meters dedicated to research and development, creation, development, and manufacturing of Zitro products. The facility features cutting-edge video and sound recording studios and a plant dedicated to the assembly and quality control of the machines. The sustainable building underscores Zitro's commitment to the environment, the company said, boasting 528 square meters of solar panels and charging stations for electric vehicles.

Kissy Chandiramani, representing the Ceuta City Council, expressed gratitude for the invitation and praised Zitro’s commitment to talent, sustainability, and technology. “Ceuta feels fully supported by the sector,” she said, “as we continue to advance our green, blue, and smart strategy.”
