Play’n GO has launched its latest mythology-inspired slot game, Rise of Olympus Origins, transporting players to Mount Olympus "to bask in the glory of the gods."

In the game, Hades rules the Underworld, Poseidon the seas, and Zeus holds dominion over the skies, also serving as king of the gods of Olympus. Rise of Olympus Origins expands the company's Greek mythology series, which also includes titles such as Rise of Olympus and Rise of Olympus 100

Players of the previous titles will notice a few differences during the base game of the new 5x5 grid slot. Where once there was a Round Multiplier in the top corner, there’s now the Power Indicator. This can be charged to enhance the Power of Gods feature, adding extra power to each god’s special bonuses on the grid.

Should players manage to clear the grid during the base game, they’ll unlock the Free Spins round, visiting the different domains of the gods. Another cleared grid during this round will award an Instant Prize chosen at random from each god’s treasure chest, up to a Bet Multiplier of 10000x.

"Not only will fans of the Rise of Olympus series enjoy this latest addition, but fans of other Greek Mythology slots such as Rise of Athena and Gates of Troy will resonate with the designs and theme of this grid slot," the company said.

George Olekszy, Head of Game Retention at Play’n GO, said: “The Rise of Olympus series holds a special place at Play’n GO, and of course in the iGaming community as a whole. The popular Rise of Olympus titles continue to shine today, and we’re thrilled to release this fresh new take on the series. We can’t wait for fans to try it out for themselves.”
