Gaming technology and services provider BetConstruct hosted "a pivotal masterclass” on July 11, led by Jochen Biewer, Managing Director of Chevron Group. The session focused on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and provided insights into upcoming regulatory changes in the German market.
Jochen Biewer, also Managing Partner of MGT Digital Compliance Solutions and Member of the Management Board of the Malta Remote Gaming Council, shared his expertise with BetConstruct’s teams from Compliance, Risk Management, Customer Service, Licensing and Certification, and Internal Audit departments.
The masterclass highlighted the importance of robust compliance frameworks and proactive risk management. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the evolving regulatory requirements and practical approaches to ensuring compliance in the highly regulated gaming sector, according to the provider.
"Chevron Group, a trusted partner of BetConstruct, provides comprehensive legal and compliance services, supporting new EU markets such as Germany and Italy," the provider stated. This training was particularly timely as BetConstruct’s SCGO division prepares to launch its B2C operations in Germany soon after. "The event underscores the company’s dedication to fostering a culture of compliance and operational excellence," BetConstruct added.
In recent related news, B2B iGaming development studio RubyPlay joined BetConstruct’s Ortak platform this month and integrated FTN as a supported cryptocurrency. RubyPlay is a long-term partner of BetConstruct.
BetConstruct’s Ortak initiative now features RubyPlay’s game "Immortal Ways Mr. First," which won the B.F.T.H. Arena Awards’23. This game, set in ancient Egypt, features Mr. First transforming into a pharaoh, the game's top-paying symbol.
