IGT expands sports betting presence with Monarch Casino partnership in Nevada and Colorado

International Game Technology (IGT) has announced an expansion of its sports betting operations in Nevada and Colorado through a new partnership with Monarch Casino & Resort Inc., powering both retail and mobile sports betting capabilities at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, and Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, Colorado.

The agreement will see IGT’s PlaySports technology and trading advisory services power the sports betting platforms at these two venues. Steve Mikkelson, Corporate Director of Race and Sports for Monarch Casino & Resort Inc., said: "We’re excited to introduce Atlantis and Monarch Black Hawk patrons to elevated sports betting entertainment via our new IGT PlaySports-powered retail and mobile sportsbooks.

As part of this collaboration, Monarch Casino & Resort Inc. has launched new mobile sportsbook apps, Atlantis NV Sports and BetMonarch – Colorado, utilizing IGT PlaySports technology.
