Borgata Poker Open returns with $4 million in guaranteed payouts

The Borgata Poker Open, powered by BetMGM, is set to return to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City from September 3 to September 17, with a total of $4 million in guaranteed payouts across 63 events.

The series will feature four anchor events, namely the $800 Kick Off Deep Stack with a $1 million guarantee, the $500 Mirror Mystery Bounty with a $500,000 guarantee, the $500 Almighty Million with a $1 million guarantee, and the $3,500 Borgata Poker Open Championship, which boasts a $1.5 million guarantee.

Registration for the Borgata Poker Open is now open online, and players can reserve their seats exclusively through BetMGM Poker. From now until September 12, BetMGM Poker will host weekly seat-only qualifiers, with buy-ins as low as $2, offering players the chance to win their way into various Borgata Poker Open events. Winners can also receive travel credits and BetMGM swag bags.

BetMGM Poker will be hosting three events during the Borgata Poker Open, including the BetMGM Bounty Shootout on September 12, featuring a knockout structure and special prizes. The event will also see participation from former MLB players and podcast hosts from Foul Territory, a baseball podcast and BetMGM partner. Additionally, the $150,000 Online Hybrid Championship, open to players in New Jersey, will kick off online on September 8 and conclude live at Borgata on September 14.

The Borgata Poker Open begins with the Kick Off Deep Stack on September 3 and will conclude with the Borgata Poker Open Championship, which starts on September 13 and will play down to a live-streamed Final Table on September 17.

Participants can also earn BetMGM Rewards Points and Tier Credits by playing on BetMGM Poker, with points redeemable for digital bonuses, MGM Rewards Points, and Marriott Bonvoy Points. All main events in the Borgata Poker Open are reported to the Global Poker Index (GPI) and Hendon Mob.
