Colombia: GAT Esports Academy unveils general agenda

Gaming & Technology Expo (GAT) unveiled the content agenda of GAT Esports Academy, its new event on the future of e-sports in Colombia, which will be held on September 5 at the Bogotá Marriott Hotel.

Earlier this month, the organization announced the launch of this initiative, which will also feature a commercial day, GAT Esports Exhibition, to be held on September 6 as part of GAT Showcase Bogota.

"Designed as a B2B/B2C platform, GAT Esports will welcome public and private institutions, associations, companies, gamers, and all those interested in exploring the vibrant e-sports sector, which today has millions of global followers," said GAT.

As detailed, from 9:00 a.m. on September 5 until 5:00 p.m., the Emerald Room of the Bogota Marriott Hotel will offer a space designed to update knowledge and open a constructive dialogue on the current situation of e-sports in the country.

Among the main topics to be discussed are the arrival of esports to university programs, pedagogy, and neuroscience applied to the gamer world, marketing opportunities for brands oriented to youth segments, the monetization of esports, betting on esports, and virtual games.
