iGaming and sports betting operator BetMGM has announced a ‘Kickoff With The Stars’ live dealer blackjack event at BetMGM Casino where fans can engage with New York Jets legends Wayne Chrebet and Tony Richardson. Through its partnership with the NFL team, BetMGM will host Chrebet and Richardson on Thursday, September 5th, at Evolution’s Atlantic City live dealer studio.
Oliver Bartlett, Vice President of Gaming Product and Content at BetMGM, said: “By bringing together the star power of Jets legends Wayne Chrebet and Tony Richardson with the thrill of live dealer blackjack, BetMGM is creating an exciting event to celebrate the start of the NFL season. This showcases our live dealer offering and commitment to delivering new and entertaining experiences for our players.”
Players can join BetMGM’s ‘Kickoff With The Stars’ live dealer Infinite Blackjack event by logging onto BetMGM Casino in New Jersey on September 5 between 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
BetMGM explained that its players will have access to a dedicated private table to play Infinite Blackjack and the game has “capacity for hundreds to join” instead of the classic seven-seat blackjack table. Chrebet and Richardson will engage with players in real-time with stories and commentary.
Jacob Claesson, CEO of Evolution North America, stated: “Evolution is thrilled to partner with BetMGM to facilitate an unforgettable live dealer experience with two New York Jets legends to kick off the NFL season. This exciting event showcases our innovative live dealer blackjack and offers players the rare opportunity to interact in real-time with Wayne and Tony while playing.
"We're extremely proud to support BetMGM as they continue to push the boundaries of live dealer gaming, and we look forward to welcoming new sports enthusiasts to discover the excitement and unique interactions that live dealer games provide."
"Wayne Chrebet turned a walk-on opportunity with the Jets in 1995 into an eleven-year career that landed him into the New York Jets 'Ring of Honor,'" BetMGM noted. He amassed 580 receptions and 7,365 yards, placing him second and fifth all-time in the Jets record books respectively.
Tony Richardson played 17 seasons in the NFL. He is widely considered one of the best fullbacks in NFL history. He blocked for 1,000-yard rushers in nine consecutive NFL seasons including Jets running back Thomas Jones in 2008 and 2009.
