Betsson Group secures multi-year sponsorship agreement with Premier Padel

Betsson Group has announced a sports sponsorship agreement with the professional padel tour, Premier Padel. As part of this multi-year deal, Betsson will serve as the official betting partner for the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour, providing a range of padel odds throughout the tournaments.

The collaboration extends beyond betting services, as Betsson is set to offer new content centered around Premier Padel’s top players. The partnership also includes ticketing and VIP experiences, enhancing the fan engagement during the tournaments.

Betsson has previously been involved in padel through various partnerships, ambassadorships, and sponsorships of International Padel Federation (FIP) tournaments. Additionally, Betsson has launched its own Betsson Padel Tour, aiming to elevate the sport’s profile.

Ronni Hartvig, Betsson’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated that they are taking their interest in padel a step further by sponsoring the biggest tournament out there.

Rob Mitchell, the Commercial Director at Premier Padel, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting its potential to expand the sport’s global reach.

"This is an exciting time for Premier Padel, and we are continually looking at ways to grow the sport globally and make it more appealing and engaging for fans both on and off the court," Mitchell said.

He also highlighted the partnership's role in attracting a new audience to Premier Padel tournaments and enhancing fan experiences with player insights and in-tournament updates.
