Latin America is currently one of the fastest growing markets on the global gaming map, and G2E 2024, an event that will take place October 7-10 at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, will place special emphasis on analyzing the business opportunities offered by this booming region.
Every year, G2E seeks to position itself as the main stage for the evolution of all industry verticals, from traditional to online gaming, including digital payments and new technology trends. Nearly 400 exhibitors will be part of this traditional event, and its organizers expect a higher attendance than in previous years.
Yogonet interviewed exclusively Korbi Carrison, Vice President of G2E at RX USA, who said: "Our mission is to bring together the gaming industry from all parts of the world so they can connect and do better business together. LatAm is a critical part of our community and that mission. With growing consumer demand, a boom in online gaming, and entirely new markets opening, it is one of the most exciting places for the gaming industry in the world today."
"G2E is committed to supporting and highlighting the growth and potential of Latin American markets, ensuring that their unique perspectives and opportunities are represented on the global stage."
As a part of its education program, G2E will host a session on Wednesday, October 9 dedicated to the online gambling industry in Latin America. The session, titled "Deep Dive: Online Gambling in Latin America" will analyze how online gaming has been regulated in Latin America by examining the individual policies implemented by various nations in the region.
Hosted by Carlos Fonseca Sarmiento, the CEO of Gaming Law SAC, a consulting company responsible for advising governments and institutions on the regulation of the gaming industry, "participants will leave with a nuanced understanding of where the online gaming industry is growing and the best opportunities to invest in the Latin American online market," the organization highlighted.
"Latin America is experiencing a significant rise in online gaming, and understanding the regulatory landscape is crucial for any stakeholder looking to invest in the region. Our 'Deep Dive: Online Gambling in Latin America' education session at G2E will offer valuable insights into the diverse policies across Latin America, providing participants with the knowledge they need to navigate this complex and rapidly growing market. They’re not going to want to miss it," Carrison commented in dialogue with Yogonet.
The organizers also placed special emphasis on various networking options designed for Latino executives attending the Las Vegas show.
"G2E presents a unique opportunity for Latin American exhibitors, operators, and gaming professionals to connect and collaborate through a variety of networking events. The Networking Lounge will provide an open environment with daily events designed for industry peers to exchange ideas and forge valuable connections. The Lab on the expo floor is a dynamic space that will engage attendees with the latest cutting-edge innovations in gaming, making it an ideal setting for Latin American professionals to explore new opportunities and connect on rising trends in the industry," they explained.
Carrison noted that "building connections is a key aspect of G2E. For those in the Latin American markets, our networking events provide a unique chance for exhibitors, operators, and gaming professionals to come together and collaborate."
"With its focus on the latest gaming innovations, The Lab will offer Latin American gaming professionals a fantastic opportunity to connect with emerging trends in iGaming and sports betting as these industries gain traction in the region," the executive added.
And reaffirming the joint work done with SAGSE to attract the regional market, Alan Burak, Vice-President of Monografie, explained:
"While once on the outskirts of the global gaming industry, the Latin American market today holds tremendous potential that can’t be ignored. With exciting new markets unlocked by recent regulations, like those in Brazil and Peru last year, LatAm is shaping up to become a major player in global gaming. This growth makes the market ripe for investment and collaboration."
It is worth mentioning that Latin American voices are increasingly shaping the conversation at G2E, bringing fresh perspectives and insights to the global gaming industry. As the region experiences significant growth, the presence of Latin American exhibitors, operators, and gaming professionals at G2E has become more prominent and influential.
"Latin America is the most exciting and attractive market in the global gaming industry today. You can tell from the degree to which it has expanded in the region in recent years, whether online or in the form of gaming halls. At G2E 2024, LatAm industry leaders and operators will be able to come together to share ideas and connect on ways to continue this momentum," Burak concluded.
