Plaza Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas offers free pickleball lessons and play for locals in September
Pickleball enthusiasts in Las Vegas looking for court space now have a new option at the Plaza Hotel-Casino, which is offering a temporary promotion throughout September. The downtown casino provides free lessons, open play sessions, and discounted equipment rentals to give locals a chance to enjoy the popular sport with a scenic view.
The Plaza boasts 13 rooftop pickleball courts, open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. As part of the promotion, Nevada residents can access free court time on Sundays and Mondays between 5 and 7 p.m. with a valid ID. Equipment rentals, usually priced at $10, will be available for $5 during the promotion, and parking is validated for guests.
For those looking to hone their skills, free clinics led by certified instructors will be offered every Saturday at 8 a.m. Additionally, the Plaza will host round robin tournaments on Friday evenings at 7 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 8 a.m., with a $10 entry fee.
Court reservations are available online, with non-hotel guests typically paying $20 per hour for locals and $30 for visitors outside the promotion period.
