The casino has openings in a variety of departments, ranging from entry-level hourly positions to salaried management positions.

Both part-time and full-time jobs are immediately available throughout all shifts. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for steward and cook positions, and a minimum of 21 years old for others. Applicants are asked to bring resumes.
“Working at Harrah’s is more than just a job, it’s a whole lot of fun and very rewarding,” said Vigi Austin, Director of HR at Harrah’s Northern California. “It’s also a fantastic place to start a successful career in the gaming and hospitality industry, and there are tremendous opportunities for both professional and personal growth.”
Full-time positions at Harrah’s include paid time off (PTO), medical/dental/vision plans, a 401(k) plan with company match, tuition reimbursement programs, student loan debt relief, and free meals. Part-time positions also include PTO and a free meal during each shift.
Earlier in July, Harrah’s became "the first casino in the nation" to offer the HotSeat Jackpot, a player-funded drawing where guests wager against one another with bets ranging from $1 to $100 for a chance to win a jackpot every hour.
HotSeat Jackpot, also known as HotSeat Lotto in certain locales, allows guests to play table games while entering an hourly player-funded hot seat drawing across all tables within the property.
