SAGSE organizers have announced their plans for the 2025 edition of the LatAm gaming exhibition, highlighting a particular emphasis on hosting the inaugural International Gaming Forum in Latin America.
Alan Burak, Vice President of Monografie, the company responsible for organizing the SAGSE show in Argentina, explained that this forum "serves as a mechanism for accessing the exchange of experiences and technical knowledge, which facilitates and promotes the development of best practices and international standards within the regulatory authorities' area of expertise."
"We will focus our attention on issues that are currently central to the entire region. In countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, and Peru, there is a pressing need for effective measures against problem gambling among minors and the fight against illegal gaming, which are critical concerns for the entire industry," Burak said.
To address this, a comparative analysis of legislation with experts from the Public Prosecutor's Office will be held, aiming to align approaches and facilitate a more effective regional strategy on this matter, Burak explained.
He also emphasized the intention to promote the signing of agreements among regulatory bodies, associations, and other representative entities in the sector to tackle these gaming-related issues.
"In Argentina, ALEA has been actively engaged in these matters alongside the Central Bank of the Republic. Additionally, authorities from LOTBA, as well as their counterparts in the province of Buenos Aires, facilitate the regionalization of this work at both provincial and national levels. SAGSE will be an integral part of this commitment," stated Burak.
"We aim for the 2025 edition of SAGSE to serve as a model of best practices and transparency, self-regulation, and effective experiences in combating illegal gambling. Therefore, we will invite top experts in the field to share their knowledge with the entire region," he concluded.
SAGSE Latam 2025 will once again take place at the Hilton Hotel & Convention Center in Buenos Aires on March 19 and 20, 2025.
