iGaming solutions provider SOFTSWISS marked a significant presence at the SBC Summit Lisbon 2024, celebrating its 15th anniversary with the company’s largest-ever stand and a series of high-profile events.
With 80 delegates representing SOFTSWISS, the company hosted its partners, clients, and industry peers at a 288m² exhibition space, the largest in its history. The event provided a platform for discussions about future business opportunities and partnerships, as well as a celebration of SOFTSWISS's achievements over the past 15 years.A key highlight of the summit was the opportunity for attendees to meet with SOFTSWISS founder Ivan Montik and Formula 1 legend Rubens Barrichello, both of whom shared their leadership insights during the Leaders Summit. Montik and Barrichello engaged the audience with a discussion focusing on leadership lessons drawn from their respective careers.
Reflecting on his time in Formula 1 and its application to business, Barrichello said: “Natural ability can take you far, but without practice and repetition, it’s not enough. In both racing and business, it’s about adapting quickly, refocusing, and constantly improving to handle whatever comes your way.”
He also emphasized the importance of teamwork, adding: “Success comes when there’s a balance in the team. A good leader isn’t just someone who gives orders but listens, learns, and works closely with their team.”
Montik said: “In today’s fast-paced world, leaders need to be adaptable and ready to make decisions on the fly. It’s not just about managing tasks but about motivating your team, fostering trust, and allowing everyone to contribute to the organization's success.”
The three-day event also featured SOFTSWISS’s 15th anniversary Grand Party, which drew over 500 guests. Renowned DJ Benny Benassi transformed the evening into an unforgettable night, the company recounted.
Another standout moment was the Track Day led by Barrichello, where participants experienced high-performance driving in vehicles such as the Formula 4 car, Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, and Porsche 718. The racing legend provided real-time feedback and insights, teaching participants advanced driving skills and techniques.SOFTSWISS will continue its industry presence at the SIGMA Malta event in November 2024, where the company said it will make another major appearance.
